Hi, everyone, and welcome to my blog. My new book, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young: The Wild, Definitive Saga of Rock’s Greatest Supergroup, arrives April 2, and the runup to it has been encouraging. As of today, the book is no. 7 on Amazon’s list of “pop artist biographies,” and we’ve received lovely reviews from the two leading book trade publications. Publishers Weekly calls it “the most comprehensive biography of the group to date,” and Kirkus Reviews says it’s “an excellent portrait of a troubled partnership.” An interview with me will be appearing in Kirkus soon as well. Oh, and the Houston Press opined, “There has not been a real worthy, substantive, and comprehensive look at the saga of the rock group with a name like a law firm. Until now.”

On April 2 itself, you can hear me talking about the book on SiriusXM’s music morning show, “Feedback, “on the Volume Channel, at approximately 8 a.m. (I’ll update that time soon.) And that same evening, I will be appearing at the Strand bookstore in New York City to talk about the book and the craft of classic-rock biography with my Rolling Stone colleague Brian Hiatt, whose new book, the incredibly well-researched and illuminating Bruce Springsteen: The Stories Behind the Songs, hits shelves on March 27.
